TEAMS
HOW IS A TEAM INVOLVED?
This depends greatly on what the team wants to focus on. We are definitely open to your suggestions or ideas. If you would like to help with a special project while you are here (such as building, painting, organizing an outing with children, etc.) please let us know.
HOW TO APPLY
It is possible to participate in any of these houses as a team. We receive short-term teams for one to three weeks and if you want to stay longer, we can provide more contacts within YWAM throughout Brazil.
Note: in December & January – it´s school holidays here in Brazil and therefore most of our staff normally take their annual leave during this time and therefore generally we don´t receive teams during these months).
To apply as a team, you need to fill out the following applications and documents.

Each member must have read and signed all the following documents (YWAM International values, YWAM international child protection policy)
We ask that all the signed documents are scanned and sent via e-mail. Once the forms have been returned the leadership team will pray & evaluate your team application and as soon as possible we will get back with you as to whether we are able to receive your team or not.
COSTS
The cost for each team member is Brazilian Reais$40 per day/per person. This fee covers base housing, and basic meals.
Your team will need a bit more support than that for the following:
a) to cover their personal needs ; toiletries
b) for using public transport while the team is here
c) for snacks
d) for telephone and internet usage
e) for any special team activities
f) for utilizing the washing machines and getting laundry detergent
and other expenses.

* The cost of airport pick-ups is not included in this fee and also the cost of transportation is separate.
We also highly recommend that each team member has international health insurance coverage during their time here in Brazil in cases of emergencies and illness.
